A Call to Boldness

Do you ever feel the need to over-explain yourself?

To make people happy and keep the peace?

To apologize if you ruffle feathers and retract what you said?

If so, I know exactly how you feel. I have been that girl almost my whole life. I'd back down if ppl questioned me.

I'd apologize for anything and everything.

If I upset ANYONE, I'd immediately start wondering what I had done WRONG.

Here's what the Lord has been saying to me and I have a feeling this is a word for many of us!

Beloved Daughter,

Do NOT back down from the message of your heart.

You have permission to NOT explain yourself.

You have permission to not even understand fully what I'm calling you to walk in.

Walk anyway.

Say what I am saying.

Do what I am doing.

Be in union with me and stop performing for the world.

I have loved you with an everlasting love, and I never expected you to get it right all the time. In fact, I know you'll make mistakes. And just like a child learning to crawl, walk, run, and play with others, I am proud of your efforts. Your gaze up at me when you try something new melts my heart. I am a proud papa when you step out in faith.

Listen to me - I am a Father who is WELL PLEASED with you.

I have put a sound in your mouth, a calling on your life, and a passion in your heart. You are an earth-shaker, a mountain mover, and a chain breaker. It's not something you perform, it's a result of ME operating in you.

So stop apologizing for saying what I am saying.

Stop being timid about the TRUTH.

I'm telling you now, people WILL Disagree, and they will NOT LIKE what you are saying.

Often those people are loud, and I know the enemy uses that to try and confuse you. But I'm telling you when I put a message in your mouth, and you release it, heaven rejoices, and hell rages. Step out because I have your back.

Nothing I purpose to do returns void. NOTHING. Obedience to my call on your life is a love offering to me. When you Trust me and Obey me EVEN when it makes no sense to your human mind, that is Faith. That is growth and as you walk in the "unforced rhythms of grace" I will increase your capacity.

Now is a time for BOLD moves.

The enemy and this world is loud, but I'm calling my people to be louder. Like a mighty lion, my Bride will ROAR at my command.

So lean in. What I am birthing inside you, what is coming out even now, it is part of my perfect plan. Trust me. Stay in union with me. Bathe in my word. Fill yourself with truth and light. Guard your heart and eyes and ears.

You are called to be set apart. It's not unkind to be set apart. I will equip you to love the generation whose hearts I am after, but you are not called to be a part of it. You are called to walk with me and obey.
