One Step at a Time

A few months ago, I heard the Holy Spirit tell me to build a website. At the time it seemed a little odd, actually it seemed very odd.  I was taking a break from my business and even social media briefly.   When I asked Him what it was for I got the sense He just wanted me to trust Him one step at a time without knowing the full plan.  Funny how God does that with me A LOT!  Might have something to do with my control issues and need to have a plan as well as know exactly what is coming my way 🤫😬 you know, so I can be prepared.

In my spirit I felt like He was said, “If you build it they will come.”

Either that or I just was having a little Field of Dreams moment with myself.

Anyhoo, when I heard that, ALL the questions began bouncing around my brain like rapid fire ping pong balls.

Uhhhhh...

What does that mean????

What am I building???

Who is coming???

Who will help me?

Why?

But, despite all the questions, it was one of those undeniable things you just know you’re supposed to do.  And, when I looked back, I could see a trail of breadcrumbs leading to this point.

So I said OK God, let’s do it!!!

I still don’t have a crystal clear answer but I CAN say the vision is taking a shape and I’m very excited to watch it unfold in God’s timing. What I thought would take a week to create has taken MUCH longer but that is totally ok, because crazily enough I found myself homeschooling 5 children recently.   The pace of building it out has been just right, and thanks to the brilliant @sarah_partain it’s well on its way to completion!  And it looks WAYYYYYY better than it would have if I’d done it all on my own!  😂.

I really wanted to wait to share it when I had it all figured out, had a plan and it was totally done....BUT, once again I’m feeling the Lord prompt me to just start stepping out and sharing.  🙈

So I’m holding His hand and going.

So without further ado, I’m excited to be sharing with you guys over the next few days and weeks.

I’d love to invite you to check out what is up so far and follow along as I trust the unfolding and His vision for the website and future of Wholehearted Mom Community 💕

Stay tuned!
